This morning our deputation travels took us to Cross and Crown Baptist Church in Cantonment, Florida. Even this early in our pre-field ministry it is important to keep in mind that our reason for going to church is worship, not merely presenting our ministry. Pastor Joe Brown brought a tremendous message on “deep repentance” as he leads his church into their upcoming revival meetings. Then we were included in an intimate family moment as the church honored their pastor and children’s church leader for their years of faithful service. I was reminded that revival begins in my own heart!
